The range is y > 1 THe domain is all real numbers. You see, domain is the x-value and range is the y-value. If the domain is all real numbers, that means that pretty much all numbers excluding imaginary ones can be reached by the graph. The range is y > 0 because a base to a power can never equal 0. This means that the graph will approach the y = 0, but never will.
