Everybody loves the classics, yet no one has a Bill Cosby sweater.... The Frick Man? -.-"

OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):

Is this a question or...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are you talking about? Every father from the 80's owns one!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but no teenager i have ever seen has one! i would totally get one if i could find them! bill cosby rocks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My gay son has one.

OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):

-_-

mjzolt, umm not quite sure what to say to that, or how to take it. im not really sure why you had to add the gay part, because it really doesnt make a difference. i hope it wasnt meant as a derogatory label, but if it was, dude get over it. if not, it still wasnt necessary

No Jaeden, of course it wasn't meant that way. What I meant was Cosby's sweaters are usually bright and so colorful. These days most teenagers wear black or t-shirts and jeans. My son (who is very colorful and bright) enjoys wearing clothing such as Cosby's sweaters. It just so happens that your more likely to see something bright and colorful on a gay person versus a normal teenager because gay people ARE more bright and colorful. In fact, I got the idea because my son has a sweater that looks exactly like one of Cosby's sweaters and I always tell him that when he wears it. Don't go getting all flustered because I happened to say the word gay. I live with it everyday here and my son is one of the most intelligent wonderful brightest person I have ever known. : )

Thank you for the clarification. I apologize if it came out sounding rude. The majority of the people i see everyday use the word "gay" as a derogitory label, and i have become quite touchy because i can't tell sometimes the way that they are using the word. I do agree that gay people tend to be more happy, and, yes, colorfull as many of my gay friends are. Again, sorry if i came across rude, it wasn't my intention. And Bill Cosby sweaters rock.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem! I sometimes have the tendency to sling the word "gay" around too freely without realizing some people are sensitive to the way others may mention it. My son is very comfortable with his sexuality and I have heard him use some homosexual terms that even I'm not crazy about. He offends himself but he respects who he is as well. FYI~ Try looking for a Cosby sweater at a thrift store maybe?
