If the line y=A+B(x-9) is perpendicular to the line y=2x and it contains the point (3,9) , what are the values of A and B ?

OpenStudy (ujjwal):

find the slope of lines. product of their slopes will be equal to -1. this way you will get a relation between A and B. Secondly, substitute the point in that equation, you will get another relation between A and B. From those two relations, find A and B.
