OpenStudy (anonymous):

Volume of a cuboid would be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

each layer from front to back has 12 cubes and it is 3 layers thick... how many do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As you can see, It's a 3 x 2 x 3. If each side of a square is 1 yd, then use the formula V = lwh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just add up each square to get your lengths.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or going from bottom to top, each layer has 6 cubes. and there are 6 layers.. how may do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its measurements are 12 cubes on one layer, there are 3 layers total. 12*3 = 36.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Or you could look at it as 6 cubes on one layer, and there are 6 layers of that -> 6*6 = 36. Either way, you get the same answer: 36 cubic yards
