n a problem it says that x is "at most -5" what does this mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats not a choice.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. x <_ -5 B. x < -5 C. x < 5 D. x >_ -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x ≤ -5 This makes sense because this means that x has to be less than or equal to -5, the equivalent meaning to at most -5.
