Can someone help me with this 1 writing question?!! please!
Based on what you know about the critical selection of Internet sites, explain whether you would use the following:

11. a site produced by a reputable university

It depends on what you were writing about. If your topic is related to something that university does well, then using their internet site would be a good use in a paper. If the topic is unrelated from something that the university does well and they just happen to mention your topic, I would not use it. Does that help? I think you are posting in the wrong section though.

1) I would not use a bias site for an academic paper because you would not get accurate information. You would get one side of the story. That could only be used if you showed two opposing bias sites in an augmentative paper.

2) An unbiased site could be used if the subject matter from their website is related to your paper topic. Does this unbiased site use credible sources? Or is it opinion based, while remaining unbiased? If it uses credible sources then using it would be ok.

1...They must be about famous people
2...They are always long.

haha it's hard to think the later it gets.

I think I can still wrap my brain around these ones.

1) Being famous would have no impact on writing an autobiography. That is telling your own story. You can have any number of reasons for wanting to write your own story
Biographies will more often be written about someone famous because you are not going to want to try to write about a random person off the street. If you are writing someone else's story, you want there to be something important about them to society.

2) This is not important for either one. Length is not a factor...it is the information it provides. If a biography or autobiography gets the same information across in 100 pages as one written in 400 pages, then there is no difference. Information in important, not length.
