linear algebra: gram-schmidt process find an orthonormal basis for the subspace of r3 consisting of all vectors [a; b; c] such that a+b+c=0. answer: {[1/root2; 0; -1/root2], [-1/root6; 2/root6; -1/root6]} are you supposed to use the gram-schmidt to solve this? I don't really get how to approach this question...

In the first drawing, I don't get the third line. Shouldn't it be 2c^2 -2ab instead of 2c^2 +2ab?
