for abcd is a Parallelogram connect XC, so AX=0.5DC the angle AXD=CDX & AMX=DMC & XAC=DCA we can say that triangle AXM is similar to triangle CDM and AXM is half of CDM so AM=0.5MC=AC/3 in the same way, we can work out CN=0.5AN=AC/3 SO MN is 1/3 of AC AC=4.5cm MN=1.5cm

@AndrewNJ I haven't studied similarity. Plz try to give another solution:)

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

similarity yet*

@UnkleRhaukus @Calcmathlete Plz help:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Um. I can't really help with this unless you know similarity. There might be a way involving only congruence, but I can't really explain it any other way. Just know that if 3 angles are congruent to three angles in another triangle in the same order, then they are similar by the AA Similarity Postulate. Similar triangles have proportional side lengths.

Why don't you give it a shot @UnkleRhaukus ? I gotta go...
