Two planes intersect in a line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Usually, unless the planes are parallel, or turn out to be exactly the same plane. |dw:1339372201123:dw|

thank you very much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

soo that would be considered as sometimes?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Think of two walls meeting in the corner of the room. Do they form a line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes they do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, so the answer will almost always be a line. The exception is when the plates are parallel, which by definition, means that the planes will never meet.
