HI can someone tell me how I recite a Bible verse in my paragraph please thank you

Hmm lol.. I found this: Usually it is handled as a regular quote, then in parentheses at the end of the quote you would put the book,chapter, verse with abbreviation for the version the quote is taken from. Ex: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Gen.1:1, KJV) In your bibliography you can list the versions you used: The Holy Bible, King James Version (date of publication) or whatever version you use. If you are using more than one verse in your quote, the reference in parentheses would be, using above example: Gen. 1:1-2 or Gen. 1: 1,3) After putting the reference for the verse(s), if you want, you can have a footnote indicating at the bottom of the page what the KJV stands for, if you want to help your readers know right away which translation/version you used. There are multiple versions of the Bible, so you would want to be clear which one you were quoting from. Hope it helps! =]
