Basically, you do the same concept as FOILing. (4x + 6y)(x^2 + 3xy - 4y^2) 4x^3 + 12x^2y - 16xy^2 + 6x^2y + 18xy^2 - 24y^3 4x^3 + 18x^2y + 2xy^2 - 24y^3
multiply. you need to do six multiplication by the distributive law when you get done you should have \(4 x^3+18 x^2 y+2 x y^2-24 y^3\)
thanks
