what would the slope be for (9,2) and (10,-8)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know the slope formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it just says find the slope for (9,2) and (10,-8)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y_{1} - y_{2} \over x_{1} - x_{2}\] Just make sure that you use the x and y's from the same coordinate in the same order. For instance, if you use (9, 2) first, make sure 9 goes in for x_1 and 2 goes in for y_1. If you don't use the same order, you'll get a different answer.

(x1,y1) and (x2,y2)
