divide: 5xy^7-10xy^5+25xy^3-5xy/-5xy a. -y^6+2y^4–5y2^+1 b. -y^6+2y^4–5y^2 i cant determine which one.. since the last answer is 1 would i just cancel the one out ?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

factorise the numerator \[\frac{5xy(y^6 -2y^4 + 5y^2 -1)}{-5xy} = -(y^6 -2y^4 + 5y^2 -1)\] multiply each term by -1 \[-y^6 + 2y^4 - 5y^2 + 1\]

so b?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean a?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (campbell_st):
