How can I study for a final Algebra I?
Lol, just study and practice makes perfect!!
Can you explain to me absolute value and radicals?
ANy examples?
Well like adding or subtracting absolute value?
You can study Algebra 1 on Openstudy :P
Absolute value... ah very basic stuff.
PRACTICE MAKES EVERYTHING PERFECT ......
Can you guys explain to me? final tomorrow?
Any questions? Or want me to make some up?
@pokemon23 first make your fav. topic best and then conc. on the harder topics
Absolute value is the distance of a number from zero in units. Think of a number line.
Both -2 and 2 are 2 units away from zero on a number line, so we may say \(|\pm2| = 2\)
Similarly - \(|\pm n| = n\)
absolute value is always positive, except when theres a negative sign at the front - l2l, but first do all procedures between the l l
And \(-|-2| = -2\) So, \(-|-n| = -n\)
I have a tutorial on absolute value equations and inequalities.
Though it's old and I think you won't comprehend it very well.
|a+ib| = sqrt{a^2+b^2} lolz it is of complex numbers
I would like to see the tutorial?
Sure, I'll link you to it.
awesome ;D
Thanks pokemon :P
No thank you I can used this study ;D
haha yw
