how are graphs of exponential functions different from others? (quadratic, linear, cubic, etc...)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

liner is a strait line quadratic has a x^2 somwhere and it has a curve that goes up on both sides of the origen. cubic has an x^3 somewhere and it has a bigger curve and it goes down on the negitive side If you want to see it better i recommend this site http://my.hrw.com/math06_07/nsmedia/tools/Graph_Calculator/graphCalc.html type x into the first. that will be your linear, type x^2into the second that is your quadratic and x^3 into the third, and that is your cubic
