OpenStudy (btaylor):

First, split both the numerator and denominator into their prime factors:\[\frac{2 \times 19 \times x \times x \times y \times z \times z}{-1 \times 19 \times x \times y \times y \times z \times z \times z}\]From there, cross out any factor that appears both as a numerator and a denominator. You cross them out because when you have a number on top and on bottom, they divide to make 1. So you are left with:\[-\frac{2x}{yz}\]If you need to simplify further, you get \[-2xy^{-1}z^{-1}\]
