OpenStudy (btaylor):

make a right triangle to label sides: |dw:1339436492658:dw| which trig function of theta uses the two known sides?

OpenStudy (btaylor):

you use cosine. cos(theta)=9.9/14, so take arccos both sides, to get theta=arccos(9.9/14)=45 degrees.
