Try finding an equation for the boundary (the dotted portion) and see if that can give you a hint as to which is the correct one. When you take an inequality and change the inequality sign (\(\le, \ge, <, >\)) into an equals sign (\(=\)), you get the equation for the boundary. Also, since it is dotted, the boundary is NOT included in the solution set, so the equation MUST be a strict inequality (i.e., either \(<\) or \(>\)).
