The oboe is just a finicky instrument! Hold your head straight and bring the oboe to YOU-- don't go down to the oboe! The correct angle of oboe to body should be about 45 degrees. Remember to only use the Forked F going to or coming from a D, Db/C#, or Eb/D#

Don't give up! I played the Bassoon for two years and it was gruesome. It's hard. The oboe is't much different...

Well I play tuba but here is a tip that any and every musician should follow. Practicing is everything and it is worth it in the long run. Also learn your fingerings and ask your teacher to help you when needed.
