what type of charge can magnets exert force on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any moving charged object will feel a force due to the presence of a magnetic field perpendicular to its motion (sometimes called the Lorentz force). Magnets also exert a force on other magnets.

for a magnet to exert force on any other thing the other one should also be a magnet bcoz forces interact eact other when they r of similar kind magnetic is an example of magnetic force a charge is an example of electric force so a magnet cant exert a force on a charge at reat but we know moving charges causes current and current has a magnetic field so for a magnet to apply force on charge it should be a moving one...
