the united states global superiority as an industrialized nation allowed it to decolonize india to avoid WWII to adopt communism to ship supplies to britain before WWII

- ship supplies to Britain before WW2 Before the US formally joined the fight in WW2, it used the Lend-Lease Act to supply friendly nations (like Britain and the Soviet Union) in their fight against Nazi Germany. Even after it joined WW2, the US continued its role as a supplier to its allies.

This is an odd question. Before World War 2, which began 1 September 1939, not when the US entered it on 8 December 1941, any nation could trade with Great Britain without fear of violent consequences, and nearly the whole world did. Moreover, the US at that time wasn't a particularly large manufacturer of weaponry -- that came later, after 1943. It's true Roosevelt talked about being the "Arsenal of Democracy" in December of 1940, and that is perhaps what is meant here. But in truth, that was at that time, late 1940, a bit of typical FDR blowhardy. It took another 2-3 years for US manufacturing to seriously gear up and in fact supply most of the material used to finally win the war. But all of the other answers are crazy: Britain decolonized India, the US did not end up avoiding the Second World War nor ever adopted communism. So if we modify the last choice mentally to mean "before US involvement in WWII" it's kind of true.
