simplify x^10 over x^8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When dividing exponential expressions expressions with the same base, you just subtract the denominator's exponent from the numerator's exponent. \[x^{a}/x^{b} = x^{a-b}\]

So that makes it x^2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep, good job
