Find out what is the nearest endangered habitat to you. Write in your journal what the habitat is called, why it is endangered, and the names of 3 plants and 3 animals that live there.

I just need to know what the habitat would be nearest to the east coast area of the US...

You should consider estuaries or salt marshes. They are encroached upon by both pollutants in the water and pollutants from the land, as well as grossly overdeveloped as coastal property is so expensive and sought after.
