x= 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

these are the choices i have

OpenStudy (theviper):

\[\LARGE{\color{red}{x=9.}}\]

Cross multiply @ my second reply!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To get a common denominator, do 2 (3/x) + 3(1/2) =5/6 EQUALS 6/2x +3/6 = 5/6 6/2x = 5/6 - 3/6 6/2x = 2/6 6= 4x/6 36=4x x=9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do the steps i did make sense??

OpenStudy (theviper):

Why not!! @sam30317
