i need science help?? somebody punching you and you performing an action you punching back? would that be reflex or behavior pattern?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am pretty sure its behavior pattern but i just want to make sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know what it might be?

OpenStudy (blues):

I agree, I think it is a behavior pattern. A reflex is a physiologically induced movement, one you have no control over. An example is when the doctor hits the top of your knee with the little hammer and the whole limb twitches regardless of whether you tell it to or not. If someone punches you, you chose whether you punch the person back.
