You will write an informal letter to the editor for this short essay. You should pretend that you are a person living at the end of World War I. You will write a short (one paragraph minimum) letter to the editor of your local newspaper and try to make an argument “for” or “against” the League of Nations. You must clearly state why you think that the United States’ joining the League would be a good idea or not a good idea. Use facts from the lesson and from the link that you have studied.
