Sam decides to build a square garden. If the area of the garden is 25x2 + 30x + 9 square feet, what is the length of one side of the garden? A) (3x + 5) feet B) (3x − 5) feet C) (5x + 3) feet D) (5x − 3) feet
C.
Thank You ((:
yup. =) Do you get why though?
No. Pretty much all of math confuses me.
oh lol. Sorry for not explaining. Basically when you factor this: you get (5x+3)^2. And to get that, you have to make sure two numbers multiply up to the last term, and add up to the term in the middle. Since the area of a square is side x side, take the square of the answer, and you have the measurement for one side =) Confused?
Ummmm, yeah. lol. But thank you for explaining (:
-____- I'm sorry lol. If you want simpler terms i'll try :3
Lol, thanks. I'm really good at all the other subjects, just not math. This is the only course I haven't finished :/
Oh lol. I'm the opposite :P Good luck!
