Which of the following does not represent the set of integers from 1 to 9? {integers from 1 to 9} {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9} {1, 2, 3, …, 7, 8, 9} {integers greater than 1}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you could cross out which answers definitely DO represent the set of integers from 1 to 9, which would you cross out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

{1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9} correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. Also, the first choice is pretty much word for word the same thing. In the 3rd choice, the "..." just means "everything in between 3 and 7". So that only leaves your last choice. Why is {integers greater than 1} not correct? Because it goes BEYOND 9--so it's going OUTSIDE of your set.

spo is the answer the second or first choice

Doesn't your question ask which one does NOT represent the set?
