Why is the colour different?
The question now becomes : why was I tagged without any notifications?

Okay, so the colors of our names are different based on out SmartScore. The SmartScore is a leveling system that OS has recently incorporated.

The purples are mods :)

ohhh well I think it changes colors when it's getting bumped or something. I don't know for sure. Good question!

hmmm interesting. When we are tagged the post will be colored differently. I don't know why it is in this case. I shall wait for a site mod to assist in our endeavors lol

Oh... My mistake perhaps. She tagged me in the question, but I haven't received any notification about it, so I don't know I was tagged. That's another problem.

yup yellow box indicates tag...look at your settings ->notification settings

you might have "Notify me when someone i fanned tag me" or something along those lines...you might have your setting filtered to receive notifs ONLY when someone you fanned tags you

I'm not sure about this, but it may be that you were tagged in the post, and then the asker edited the question so that you were no longer tagged in it. Just a thought.
