An architect is desgining a building that is 200 feet long and 140 feet wide. She builds a model so that the similarity ratio of the model to the building is 1:500. What is the length of the model in inches?

Ratio proportion. 1/500 = x/200 Solve for x.

Here's the trick. Pratu gave you the method to find how long it is in FEET. Now you need to convert that to inches.
