You have 1/4 of a tank of gas and 10 dollars in your wallet. Gas is $2.50/gallon and your car holds 13 gallons. Explain how you would find out how many total gallons you will have in your car after you put in $10 worth of gas.
$10 worth of gas...to find how many gallon that is divide it by 2.5 i think that's 4 gallons now the capacity of your car is 13 gallons...you originally have 1/4 of that so original is 13/4 now add 13/4 + 4 to get how many gallons you now have
um, i have no clue.. um 13/4 4?
4 in fraction form is 16/4 13/4 + 16/4 = 29/4 now simplify
so the answe is 29/4?
