My favorite is MicroCap, from Spectrum Software; the demo version is free: http://www.spectrum-soft.com/down/demo.zip

thanks.. downloading...

There are so many circuits simulation available. You can use Proteus, Livewire and Electronics Workbench etc. Freeware are available at www.sourceforge.net, there is science and engineering section but most are related to the PCB design.

You are surely a beginner that's why you asked circuit simulator. So I will suggest you to use "Circuit Maker" for beginners. But it has limited library i.e. no much components in it that's why it is suggested to mostly beginners. But you are an experienced one then you should use "Altium Designer" as it has library over 1 lac components, Even it has backup of 6GB. So you can think how great this software is. Isn't it? multlisim is gud ...to start with......!!

How about Cadence orcad or LTSPICE?

OpenStudy (shayaan_mustafa):

@gregfeynman I have used cadence orcad and LTspice too. I suggest orcad is best from these two. But still Altium Designer is best of all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Shayaan_Mustafa Hmm....I never used Altium Designer. This is first time to hear it.

OpenStudy (shayaan_mustafa):

Altium Designer 10 is the best electronic simulator still. It has much library even more than you imagine. But this simulator is for experts and experienced one. Beginners will have difficulties with this software.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Tnx. But not, OrCAD or LTSPICE is good enough for me 'cause I'm not an expert yet...
