Consider the reaction Mn^7+(aq) +2Cu^+(s) -> Mn^5+(aq) + 2Cu^2+(aq). What is the equivalent mass of Mn in this reaction? My book defines it as the MM/n n=number of electrons transferred. which would be MM/2 because 2 were transferred but I googled around and it doesn't seem correct.
