Well if we use the PEMDAS method it would go like this 50 / 5 (3-1) -4 (parentheses) 50 divided by 5 (2) - 4 (exponents) there are none multiplication is where it gets tricky. In this case we are actually going to do 50 divided by 5 *and then* multiply the 2 so 10 • 2 = 20 - 4 and 20-4 is of course 16 :)
