David made this model of a pyramid. Which option best describes the length of the unknown side of the triangular face? between 24 cm and 30 cm between 4 cm and 24 cm less than 4 cm more than 30 cm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it has to be between 4 and 24.... that's the sum/difference of the two other sides of the face.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3rd side of a triangle can't be equal to or smaller than the difference of other two sides, and it can't be equal to and greater than the sum of the other two sides.

So, in this case, it has to be between (14-10) and (14+10).

okay thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the third side is 4 wouldn't it be incorrect. because 4+10=14 which is = to the first side
