You mean problem on page 21?I am using international edition...so I am not sure

If it is right, the answer is: \[zx+xy+yz=0.5*((x+y+z)^2-x^2-y^2-z^2)\] and \[x+y+z=0\] so \[zx+xy+yz=-0.5(x^2+y^2+z^2)\]
