the mean of a list of 80 numbers is 230. If the four numbers 145,156,210, and 255 are added, what is the mean of the list of numbers ?

I got the answer to be 228.167, is this correct???

the bottem number changes because u add 4 more numbers so it wil be 84 not 80

there were 80 numbers to begin with, not 76.

Oh. It meant the 4 numbers were added to the list so it should also be 80(230)

i figured out the original total first so you get

Then just add all the other numbers and dived by total of numbers (84) and BANG we got an answer :p
