The radii of two circles are in the ratio of 3 to 1. Find the area of the smaller circle if the area of the larger circle is 27 sq. in.

You are given Linear Ratio of 2 circles --> 3 : 1 the Area Ratio is 3 square : 1 square = 9 : 1 therefore if area of the larger circle is 27, then the area of the smaller circle is 3 sq.in.
