Leo drove from city Y to city Z and Samantha drove from city Y to city X and then from city X to city Z. How many more kilometers did Samantha drive than Leo? Using complete sentences, justify your answer.

use pythagoreans theorem thats says If you have a right triangle, the hypotenuse squared = the other two sides squared in this case your hypotenuse = 34 and your two other sides are 14 and x. using pythagorean theorem \[c^2=a^2+b^2\] where c is your hypotenuse, and a and b are sides

once you find the missing side it's as simple as adding up the segments that the one driver drove and subtracting it from the other drivers route to get the difference
