see if u have to check whether a fraction can be further simplified or not

like ... 102/200 = 56/100 = 28/50 = 14/25

try to find the HCF ( highest common factor of 14 and 25)

GCF of 14 and 24 is 1
hence it can not be further simplified

in ratios u can write any ratio as in a fraction form .. for example

2:3 = 2/3

111:1 = 111/1 = 111

proportions mean

x:4::1:2

this means that 4*1 = 2*x
4=2x
x=4/2 = 2
hence x= 2

Students have different ways to go to school: 100 students walk, 40 students get driven, 50 driven by bus and 20 take bike or other. What percent of students are driven. What percent walks? \[100+40+50+20 = 210\] (total) percent formula for this question = ?
