Three hunters decide to stay in a hotel for the night. the clerk says it will cost $30. Each man pays $10. Then, the clerk's manager tells him that he overcharged the men, and tells him to take $5 and give it back to them. The clerk is a little slow, and cannot divide the $5 by three, so he gives each man back $1, and keeps $2 for himself. So... Each man paid $9, which equals $27. Plus the $2 the clerk kept equals $29. Where is the missing dollar? Answer coming next...
The second day, one of the hunters got his deer and went home. The other two men stay in the hotel again. Again, they are charged $30. Each one pays $15. And, again, the clerk finds out he overcharged them. He is told to take $5 back to them. The clerk, being a little slow, cannot divide $5 by two, and gives each man $1, keeping $3 for himself. So... Each man paid $14, which equals $28. Plus the $3 the clerk kept equals $31. There is the missing dollar! LOL

Mountains will crumble and temples will fall, and no man can survive its endless call. What is it?
Here is the explanation I found for the missing dollar riddle: So the short answer: There is no missing dollar. The men spent $27. Of which $25 went on the room and $2 went to the light fingered bell boy. You can not add the $2 the bellboy has to the $27 the men spent as this $2 actually comes out of the $27 the men spent, the other $25 going on the room. Put another way consider how the $30 breaks down: $25 - room $3 (3x $1) back to the men $2 Bellboy -------------- Another riddle: A man has a square house, with a window on each wall. Each window faces south. He looks out a window and sees a bear. What color is the bear? Answer: The bear is white. If every window faces south, he must be in the North Pole, which is where polar bears live.
