Hey yall, so if you are finding a median for a range of numbers ... you want to find the midpoints first ... and then do you use the midpoint or the actual numbers given for you final answer to what the middle number is ???

I am a little confused as to what you are describing so I'll try to explain it in my own words which will hopefully make sense :P To find the median for a set of numbers, list the numbers in ascending or descending order. The middle score is your median. However if you have an even set of numbers (eg. 6, 8, 10 numbers in total), the median would be the mean of the two middle scores. For example, if the set of numbers were {3,2,7,4,9}, list them in ascending/descending order ={2,3,4,7,9}
