Write the formula given the following arithmetic sequences. 9.6, 6.4, 3.2, 0, ...

Parth (parthkohli):

The common difference I see here is -3.2 because we're adding -3.2 everytime

Parth (parthkohli):

\( \color{Red}{\Rightarrow a_n = a_1 + (n - 1)d }\) \( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow a_n = 9.6 + -3.2(n - 1) }\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the sequence would be tn = 3.2 – 9.6(n – 1)

Parth (parthkohli):

Correct :) ^

Parth (parthkohli):

No no...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ahh thanks! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh..

Parth (parthkohli):

You switched em over lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its tn = 9.6 – 3.2(n – 1)
