what is Big Bang Theory? My friend says that there was an object which has 0 volume and infinite density suddenly that explodes and universe was created but I am still thinking there should be an space to explode isn't it?

Ya, the space was there but it was empty. The object (with Zero volume and infinite density) exploded and then its density is tending to ZERO and volume is tending to INFINITY, it is just filling the empty space with matter.
- Scientists say that.
P.S - I don't believe a word they say. I think we don't really know anything about our universe.Mathematical explanations are just attempts of getting through the ‘homework assignment’ of nature and getting the answers.

is empty space = to nothing?  isn't nothing really something? it's the abscense of something at least. So, what is on the other side of nothing? Something? what is it - more nothing which is really something?  I guess it's all 0's and 1's afterall
