You can make a combined project of solar lights being used to light street lights or a garden..

This will be combo of both circuit designing as well renewable energy funda, so this wil make it look fresh.

Like you can new ideas on the solar model, like rotating solar panels, that are calibrated to change orientation according to the sun's position, so as to maximise direct perpendicular exposure.

And bombard the model with ideas like battery backup, a mini wind-powered rotor attachment (that's my idea, can be helpful since light poles are generally tall), LED cluster lighting, and stuff.


Well, designing? That is something that you'll have to do yourself, no point copying designs from the web, especially if you want to incorporate your ideas ;)
