yes

i got 157.08 ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

u should get 441.71 sq.ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how so?

OpenStudy (sasogeek):

the radius of the semicircle is 2, the height of the rectangular part of the entrance hence is 8, find the area of the semicircle, the area of the rectangular part of the entrance, sum it, and deduct it from the area of the whole wall

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

area of the wall = 16 x 30 = 480 sq.ft area of rectangle + semi circle hole = 8x4 + pi x 2 do a subtraction..
