Let's try to compare this with the north. If you stand facing the north, your right hand will face the east as the east is on the right compared to north.

If you're facing south, then your right hand would face the other direction(obviously) which is west :)

technically your hand could be pointing in any direction no matter where your face is looking, since (if you really try) your hand can turn around 360 degrees so this question is a moot point in my opinion lol
