Check My Answer Please? Subtract and simplify: (3x^2 + 7) - (x^2 - 6x - 4) 2x^2 + 6x + 3 <--------- My answer. 4x^2 - 6x + 3 2x^2 + 6x + 11 4x2 + 3

unfortunately, you forgot to distribute the negative to all three terms. In essence, you are doing 3x^2 + 7 - x^2 + 6x + 4. (you did -4). So 2x^2 + 6x + 11 is the right answer.
