how do i solve using factoring 4x^2+x=3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Both terms on the left side have an x, so you can factor that x out to get x(4x+1)=3x. Now, x is part of the product on both the left and the right, so if you divide both sides by x, they will cancel out, giving 4x+1 = 3. Now, it's a simple equation to solve.
