BC is the secant... its a line passing through a circle.... EB is a chord

AC is the tangent;
BA is the diameter;
OD is the radius;
EA and BE are chords and BC is the secant.

Well, technically it all depends on what sign they're putting above EB.  If it's a line symbol, then EB is a segment.  If it's a segment symbol, then it's a chord.  I'm guessing, if this was a multiple choice question, one of the choices was EB with a segment symbol (wrong) and another choice was CB with a line symbol (right).
